John Vigar is one of this country`s leading ecclesiastical historians. Following a career in academia John worked for 13 years in the south-east region of The Churches Conservation Trust and he is a Trustee of a national charity, The Friends of Friendless Churches.
He is a member of the Advisory Council of The Norfolk Churches Trust and has previously served as Hon Sec of the Ledgerstone Survey of England and Wales and as Photographic Curator of The Kempe Society. He arranges and leads tours for The Ecclesiological Society and other interested organisations.
John is a NADFAS accredited lecturer and is often asked to give a preliminary lecture to groups prior to their church tour. It helps set the scene and is an excellent way of ensuring your tour is fully subscribed!
